# Design Intelligence

> Sector-aware design intelligence

A sector-specific design database that grounds every design decision in data rather than gut feeling. It packs 171 color palettes, 78 font pairings, 84 UI styles, 176 sector reasoning profiles, 173 UX guidelines, 34 landing patterns, and chart recommendations, plus dedicated Turkish-market enrichment. Look up the right palette, font, UI style, and CTA strategy for any industry in seconds.

## Use cases
- Choosing colors, fonts, and a UI style for a new design system
- Auditing an existing design for sector fit
- Selecting a landing-page layout pattern for a given industry
- Deciding CTA strategy with a WhatsApp / phone / form decision tree
- Pulling Turkish-market-specific palettes and fonts with proper character support
- Checking a sector's anti-pattern list before shipping a design

## Benefits
- Replace subjective taste with evidence-backed, sector-fit design choices
- Avoid costly mistakes by checking each industry's anti-pattern list first
- Ship designs that convert with sector-tuned palettes, layouts, and CTAs
- Serve Turkish-market clients confidently with localized data and character support

## What’s included
- 171 color palettes with shadcn-compatible CSS variables and ready Tailwind config snippets
- 78 font pairings with Turkish character support flags and Next.js import code
- 84 UI styles tagged with best-for and do-not-use-for use cases
- 176 sector reasoning profiles with color psychology, CTA strategy, and anti-patterns
- 173 UX guidelines, 34 landing patterns, and chart recommendations with accessibility fallbacks
- Turkish-market enrichment plus a WCAG AA contrast-check workflow

## Who it’s for
Designers and agency teams who want every palette, font, and layout decision backed by sector data instead of guesswork.

## How it runs
A queryable design database, not taste: 171 color palettes, 78 font pairings, 84 UI styles and 176 sector reasoning records. Every design decision runs this lookup loop:
1. Starts every design task with a sector query against the 176-record reasoning database: finds the client's sector, pulls its recommended primary style, color psychology notes and CTA strategy. Designing without the query is guessing.
2. Checks the sector's anti-pattern list before anything is applied: patterns that work elsewhere but damage this sector (dark themes on hospital sites, heavy animation for law firms) are blocked outright.
3. Validates the chosen UI style against the 84-style catalog's best_for and do_not_use_for fields, because the same style reads trustworthy in one sector and cold in another.
4. Applies the Turkey-market filter when relevant: tr_market palettes first, fonts verified for full Turkish character support, and the local CTA decision tree where WhatsApp outranks phone, which outranks forms.
5. Runs WCAG AA contrast checks on every palette combination (4.5:1 body text threshold) and swaps to an alternative palette on failure rather than shipping a pretty but unreadable scheme.
6. For clients spanning two sectors, takes the union of both anti-pattern lists (anything banned in either is banned), blends the primary sector's main color with the secondary sector's accent, and sets CTA strategy by the trust-heavier sector.

## FAQ
### Do I have to use a specific design tool to pull from this database?
No, it returns palettes, font pairings and layout patterns as plain decisions you apply in Figma, code or any tool. It informs the choice, it does not lock you to a platform.

### Are the palette and font picks sector-specific, or the same defaults handed to everyone?
Each suggestion is filtered through 176 sector reasoning profiles plus Turkish-market data, so a law firm and a fitness brand get different starting points. You choose from sector-fit options, not a single generic set.

### Will it produce a finished design, or just tell me what to use?
It gives you grounded inputs: palette, type, UI style and landing pattern, then hands the composition to you. Turning those into a polished screen is still a design task, see design-craft for the build loop.
