Drafts stay private and nothing publishes without explicit confirmation. In between, one draft carries X, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky together instead of four diverging copies, and the queue does the timing:
- Resolves the account first: checks the config for a default social set, lists the available ones if none is set, and offers to save the choice so it never has to ask again.
- Creates every post as a draft through the CLI, and keeps multi-platform publishing on a single draft: same content goes out with one create call listing the platforms, tailored content updates the same draft per platform instead of spawning duplicates.
- Handles format mechanics per platform: threads split on a separator line, character limits respected (280 on X, 3000 on LinkedIn, 500 on Threads, 300 on Bluesky), internal notes attached to the draft's scratchpad rather than local files.
- Uploads media through the API and waits for processing before attaching the ready media id to the draft; checks existing tags before ever creating a new one.
- Schedules to an exact time or lets Typefully pick the next free queue slot, and answers 'what is scheduled this week' by reading the queue timeline for a date range.
- Treats publishing as irreversible: drafts stay private, nothing goes live without explicit confirmation, and automation guardrails (no duplicate content across accounts, no fake engagement, no unsolicited replies) are enforced throughout.

Which platforms and how many accounts can I actually run from this?
It publishes through Typefully to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon, and manages multiple accounts as social sets with tags scoped per set. One draft can target several platforms at once, with per-platform character limits and thread splitting via separators handled for you.

How does cross-posting from one draft work without lowest-common-denominator content?
The draft stays single, but you can tailor the content per platform inside it, so the X thread and the LinkedIn version diverge where they need to while staying one reviewable unit. Scheduling then drops each into the next free queue slot instead of you picking times by hand.

Does it write my posts or report how they performed?
No. It is a drafting, scheduling and publishing workflow on top of Typefully: you can review what is scheduled or already published in a date range, but it does not generate content for you and it is not an analytics dashboard. It also requires a Typefully account to do anything.
