Automated scanners catch maybe 30 to 40 percent of real accessibility violations, so a clean axe run proves very little. This audit treats the scan as the opening move, not the result:
- Runs the automated layer first: axe-core with wcag2a, wcag2aa and wcag22aa rule tags across the page set, knowing this catches only 30-40 percent of real violations and a clean scan never equals an accessible site
