Brand Strategy Framework

Audit and build a brand's identity with five academic frameworks (Brand Onion, Trust Equation and JTBD) producing a scored assessment instead of guesswork.

Audit and build a brand's identity systematically with five academic frameworks: Stengel Brand Ideal, Aaker Brand Equity, Neumeier ZAG, Wheeler Brand Identity and Kapferer Brand Prism. Instead of guessing at voice and positioning, you produce a scored brand assessment, a 5-layer Brand Onion (purpose to visual), a Trust Equation score and a voice tone matrix, turning a manual multi-hour brand audit into a structured, repeatable process.

Five academic frameworks score the brand before anyone touches copy: Stengel, Aaker, Neumeier, Wheeler, Kapferer. The audit then moves inside out, from purpose to voice rules to a competitor map with one open position.

  1. Reads or builds the customer's brand JSON, then scores the brand against all five academic frameworks: Stengel Brand Ideal (which of the 5 high-order benefits the brand serves), Aaker equity (awareness, perceived quality, associations, loyalty), Neumeier ZAG differentiation, Wheeler phase progress and Kapferer prism coherence, each on a 0-10 scale.
  2. Maps the Brand Onion inside-out in strict order: purpose statement first, then 3-5 values, then personality traits, then a 4-axis voice score (formality, warmth, technicality, emotion, each 0-10), with visuals delegated last. Outer layers are never allowed to contradict inner ones.
  3. Runs the Trust Equation calculator over real page copy: credibility, reliability and intimacy are scored from concrete signals (years of experience, certifications, consistent terminology, personal language), then divided by self-orientation, measured as the ratio of we-talk to you-talk in the text.
  4. Scans the customer's existing web, social and email content for purpose, value and personality markers plus forbidden jargon, and produces a 0-10 onion consistency score with a pass or fix-required verdict per channel.
  5. Generates the voice tone matrix for the sector and persona combination: vocabulary to use, forbidden words and example sentences, which becomes the direct input for any landing page, email or ad copy written afterwards.
  6. Plots competitors on a 2-axis differentiation map to find the unoccupied position, then renders everything into a client-facing audit report: framework scores, the onion, the voice rules and a concrete list of next actions for the month.

Questions · still in the air

Catch what's on your mind.

the air is clear. nothing between you and the forge.
catch a spark: the forge will answer

  1. Is this for building a new brand, or auditing one that already exists?

Audit-first: it's built to assess an existing identity before a rebrand or refresh, and to diagnose voice inconsistency across web, social, and email. You can use it greenfield, but its core job is judging what's already there with structure.

  2. Five academic frameworks sounds like a deck nobody reads. Does this produce anything usable?

The frameworks aren't five separate reports, they converge into one scored assessment and a 5-layer Brand Onion you make decisions from. The rigor exists specifically so positioning and voice stop being improvised, not to pad a presentation.

  3. Does it design the logo and visual identity too?

No: this is strategy, positioning, and voice, not visual execution. It tells you what the brand should stand for and sound like; turning that into a logo, palette, and artifacts is a separate design step.

  4. How is it delivered?

By email right after purchase: ready to run, downloaded instantly, no setup wait.

  5. One-time or subscription?

A one-time purchase; no subscription or hidden fees. VAT (20%) is included.

  6. Can I get a refund?

As a digital product, it can’t be refunded once downloaded. That’s why we show exactly what’s inside and who it’s for, right here.
